According to the information compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, flat steel exports, which were 367,070 tons in October last year, increased by 20% to 440,756 tons in the same period of this year. A significant increase of 49.3% was recorded compared to September.

32.3% decrease in total exports

However, total flat steel exports, which were 4,194,287 tons in the January-October period last year, decreased by 32.3% to 2,839,327 tons in the same period this year.

While the highest export figure last year was recorded in March, the lowest level was experienced in February. In the same period this year, the highest export figure was reached in October, while the lowest export was seen in January.
