First production in Tosyalı Holding's proud investment!

Tosyalı Holding Chairman Fuat Tosyalı, Iskenderun Mayor Fatih Tosyalı and Iskenderun Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Ayhan Tosyalı witnessed the first production of the huge facility in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone. The facility, which will initially produce from scrap, will switch to steel production from ore in the medium term. With the commissioning of the plant, more than 1,500 people will be directly employed.

With the commissioning of the facility, which has a total investment size of 2.5 billion dollars, it is aimed to produce 4 million tons of flat steel per year, while Tosyalı Holding's consolidated production figure is planned to reach 10 million tons per year with this facility. The plant, which will integrate Industry 4.0 applications into production processes, will be one of the best examples of digital transformation in global steel production.

Fatih Tosyalı, Mayor of Iskenderun Municipality, who witnessed the moment when the factory, which will make a significant contribution to Tosyalı Holding's export power, started production, said, "We witnessed the first production of Tosyalı Iron and Steel Factory on the blessed Friday.
