In its 2022 report, the company says Ferrexpo's share of total pellet imports in the European Union (EU) has increased from 23% to 27%, up 4% compared to 2021.
The company, which is a premium exporter of iron ore pellets in the CIS and also one of the largest producers and exporters of such raw materials in the world, sells its products mainly under long-term contracts, mainly in Europe, as well as in Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany, and other countries. It continues to sell in Asia, especially in China, India, Japan, and Taiwan.
In 2022, Ferrexpo's pellet production volume decreased by 46% compared to 2021 to 6,053 million tons.
