Fagersta Stainless increases production capacity with Danieli technologies

The company is expected to enhance production flexibility by offering a broader product range with the new project. Additionally, a production process designed to save energy is aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The investment is projected to provide Fagersta Steel with higher quality, greater flexibility, and lower production costs, boosting the company’s competitiveness in the industry. With the implementation of the new line, the company’s production capacity is expected to significantly increase and become more efficient.

The layout of the line will allow for future production capacity increases up to 50 tons per hour and the doubling of coil weight. The new line is expected to go into operation in the first quarter of 2026.
