Argentina's lithium exports provided to increase the country's mining exports to $3.86 billion last year.
Lithium exports oh the country increased in 2022 by 234% compared to the previous year, accounting for almost a fifth of all shipments to the mining industry in Argentina.
February deliveries for Argentina's white metal exports more than doubled in the January-February period of 2023 compared to last year at $58 million.
Investments in the mining industry as of 2020 amounted to about $11.3 billion, including $5.1 billion in lithium and $4.9 billion in copper, which is also actively used in electric vehicles.
