At the 21st Ordinary General Assembly of İskenderun OSB, a new Entrepreneurial Committee was elected. Erol Ayhan Tosyalı was re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of İskenderun Organized Industrial Zone, while Osman Gözükara (Vice Chairman of the Board), Fatih Keseroğlu (Member), Sedat Uysal (Member), and Mustafa Kahraman (Member) were other members of the Entrepreneurial Committee.
İskenderun OIZ is one of Turkey's first organized industrial zones
İskenderun Organized Industrial Zone has largely completed its infrastructure investments. It has successfully maintained its quality of service for nearly half a century. The region is among Turkey's first established organized industrial zones.
İskenderun OIZ mainly produces construction steel, pipes, profiles, electrical energy, machinery manufacturing, and automotive filters. Large companies such as Tosçelik Profil ve Demir Çelik, Yazıcı Demir Çelik, Ekinciler Demir ve Çelik, Atlas Enerji, Tosyalı Demir Çelik, which are listed among Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Companies, operate in İskenderun OIZ. The region, established on an area of 208 hectares, employs approximately 6,000 people.
In İskenderun OIZ, there are highways, divided roads, railways, and piers and ports that open to the bay. This transportation network makes the region a complete attraction center in terms of land, sea, air, and railway transportation
