The European Union has added a number of major Russian companies, including publicly traded ones, to the sanctions list, the EU published on Thursday in its Official Journal.
The latest and 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions includes specifically PJSC Polyus, Evraz plc, PJSC FESCO, Lukoil's Dubai trading unit Litasco Middle East DMCC, PJSC AvtoVAZ, and CEO Maxim Sokolov, the Zvezda shipbuilding complex, and several others.
Most of the companies included in the 19th package of the EU had previously been subject to various U.S. and/or UK sanctions.
