European buyers hesitate to accept higher HRC prices

At the beginning of the week, domestic HRC index is recorded as EXW €746.25 per tonne for Northern Europe, indicating only a slight rise, and it was heard that producers made offers around EXW €750-780 per tonne.

For Northern Europe, the tradable market level is estimated at EXW €730-750 per tonne by market participants. Buyers expressed their doubts about the sustainability of the current price rise due to the low demand, and the market in Northern Europe is still searching for a settled price level.

On the 22^nd of January, in Italy, the domestic HRC index is reported at EXW €745 per tonne. Sources stated that the offers were made at EXW €765 per tonne.
