EU Commission allocates Russia's quotas to other countries

The European Commission has distributed Russia's country quotas to other countries benefiting from the quotas, as it will ban the import of products covered by quotas from Russia as of January 1, 2022. Turkey HRC achieved significant increases in its Commercial Bar, Rebar, Hollow Profiles, Wire and Alloy Bar product quotas.

The situation and increases in Turkey's quotas in the new quarter covering the period from April 1 to June 30, 2022 are as follows. The green zoned areas reflect additional increases in Turkey's country quotas and Other Countries quotas that Turkey benefits from, due to the dispersal of Russia's quota.
