Erciyas Çelik has suspended its operations

Erciyas Çelik Boru made a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on January 31, 2024 and announced that in accordance with the United Metal Workers Union's strike decision, the strike will be applied in Düzce and Mersin factories.

Erciyas Çelik has suspended its operations

Erciyas Çelik Boru Sanayi A.Ş. has announced that it has decided to go on strike following the failure to reach an agreement in the collective negotiations with the United Metal Workers Union.

The decision for strike has been taken to be effective as of January 31, 2024 and will continue until a reversal of the decision. It was also stated that the company was seeking an agreement by observing global competition, country and sector conditions, but no consensus was reached. On January 31, 2024, a strike started to be implemented in Düzce and Mersin factories and production was suspended during this process. The company reported that production will be suspended until the strike decision is overturned.
