Environmental Impact Assessment announces its decision on Oyak Cement's SPP project

EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) announced the 'Environmental Impact Assessment Positive' decision regarding the SPP project planned to be built by Oyak Cement.

The EIA's made the following statements:

"The EIA Report submitted to our Ministry regarding the SOLAR ENERGY POWER PLANT (97.8 MWe / 115.5 MWp, 115.65 ha) project planned to be built by OYAK ÇİMENTO FABRİKALARI A.Ş. within the borders of ANKARA province BEYPAZARI, ilcesi DİBECİK MAHALLESİ (132 Ada, 29-30-31-33-34-35 Parcel) has been examined and evaluated by the Review and Evaluation Commission. In accordance with Article 14 of the EIA Regulation, 'Environmental Impact Assessment Positive' decision has been given by our Ministry by taking into consideration the Commission studies and public opinions and the decision should be announced to the public by ANKARA Governorship (Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change). In addition, it is necessary to comply with the issues specified in the Final EIA Report and its annexes and the relevant provisions of the regulations enacted pursuant to the Environmental Law No. 2872, and to obtain the necessary permits from the relevant institutions / organizations in accordance with the applicable legislation. "
