Enter Steel plant increases production capacity

Uzbekistan's machinery production plant Enter Steel continues to grow by increasing its capacity.

Enter Steel plant increases production capacity

In April, Enter Steel, operating in Almalyk, Uzbekistan, put into operation a new smelter designed to provide castings for Enter Engineering Group projects.

The main task of this workshop is to increase the production of casting products in demand within the framework of modern projects. It will have a casting capacity of 3,500 tonnes per year, with a maximum weight of 2.5 tonnes, and will work with various types of alloys, including steel, stainless, heat-resistant, cast iron and non-ferrous metals. Electric arc furnaces (DSP-1.5) and induction furnaces (IPP-1.0) will be used as main and supplementary equipment.

The company also announced the completion of two Enter Pipe plants that will be integrated into the Enter Steel Karakul engineering complex in the Karakul Free Economic Zone in the Bukhara region. The first of these, specialising in the production of large diameter welded steel pipes, is in the final stages of preparation for operation. Production is expected to start within the next two months. The second plant will specialise in the production of smaller diameter steel welded pipes. Their total annual capacity is planned to be 120 thousand tonnes.
