EMSTEEL and Tadweer sign agreement for sustainable future

EMSTEEL Group, the largest publicly traded steel and construction materials producer in the UAE, and Tadweer Group, Abu Dhabi’s leader in waste management and recycling, have entered into a strategic partnership to produce green construction materials.

The collaboration aims to utilize Tadweer’s Refuse-Derived Fuels (RDF) and Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) in EMSTEEL Group's facilities to create eco-friendly construction materials. This partnership will bolster circular economy practices and reduce environmental impact by reusing waste, contributing to the UAE Net Zero 2050 goals.

EMSTEEL Group CEO, Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi, stated that the partnership will make a substantial contribution to sustainable production processes and mark a significant step toward decarbonization in the industrial sector. Tadweer Group CEO, Ali Al Dhaheri, expressed that this strategic alliance will support Abu Dhabi’s waste management goals and promote the adoption of sustainable practices across the industry.

Through their joint projects, EMSTEEL Group and Tadweer Group aim to reduce waste volumes, lower CO2 emissions, and increase the production of environmentally friendly construction materials. This strategic move not only enhances environmental responsibility but also positions EMSTEEL Group and Tadweer Group as pioneers in transforming the industrial sector.
