Emirates Steel keeps rebar prices unchanged for March 2025

Emirates Steel has kept rebar prices unchanged at around USD 722 (AED 2,652) per ton for March 2025 deliveries. The company took this decision in anticipation of lower demand as construction activity slows during the Ramadan period.

For regional deliveries, prices were set at USD 724 (AED 2,660) per ton in Abu Dhabi and USD 726 (AED 2,668) per ton in Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. Prices were announced excluding 5% VAT. Emirates Steel's cautious pricing strategy aims to maintain market stability in the face of fluctuating demand conditions.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, Emirates Steel is part of the EMSTEEL Group and has an annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons of steel and 4.6 million tons of cement. Exporting to more than 70 countries, the company generates 30% of its sales from international markets and its product range includes wire rod, rebar and heavy sections.
