Egypt jumps steel exports to $1.3 billion in January-September 2021

The report of the Export Council for Building Materials revealed that Italy is the most importer from Egypt with $329.6 million in the first 9 months of this year, compared to $30.13 million in the same period last year, an increase of 994%, followed by Spain with $305 million, compared to $93 million up 676%.

The report revealed that the US imported $129 million, compared to $12 million in the same period last year, an increase of 993%, and Saudi Arabia came in fourth place in terms of imports with $105.2 million. 

Canada ranked fifth with $65.6 million compared to $10.5 million in the same period last year, and Brazil with $51.7 million compared to $754,000 in the January-September 2020.
