According to the announcement numbered 2025/442/AD27R1 published by the Department for the Protection of the Internal Market of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the anti-dumping duty of 15.50% on seamless stainless steel tubes originating from China will remain in effect until June 23, 2030.
The decision was approved by the EEC's decision No. 56 dated June 24, 2025, while the previous decision No. 145 dated December 17, 2024, which extended the duty until September 24, 2025, was repealed. The new decision will be effective from July 24, 2025.
Which products does it cover?
The duty covers corrosion-resistant seamless stainless steel pipes with an outer diameter not exceeding 650 mm and a circular cross-section. The products are included in the Customs Tariff of the Eurasian Economic Union with the following HS codes:
7304491000, 7304499301, 7304499309, 7304499501, 7304499509, 7304499900.
The EEC initiated the first anti-dumping investigation against the products originating from China on September 4, 2018 and imposed a duty of 15.50% as of February 1, 2020 with its Decision No. 218 dated December 3, 2019. The first period of this duty was to expire on January 31, 2025.
Then, on September 25, 2024, the first sunset review investigation was initiated and the tax was temporarily extended until September 24, 2025. On April 17, 2025, the OEC announced the final decision of the investigation and recommended that the current duty be extended for another five years.
With the latest decision, the 15.50% anti-dumping duty on seamless stainless steel tubes originating from China will remain in force until June 23, 2030.
