Price Increases
Beshay Steel saw the most substantial price increase, with prices rising from EGP 40,700 per metric ton (MT) in November to EGP 49,920 in December, reflecting a significant rise of $160 per imperial metric ton (IMT).
Suez Steel also experienced a notable price hike, with prices jumping from EGP 38,100 to EGP 48,300, an increase of $180/IMT.
Madina Steel had a moderate increase, with prices moving from EGP 36,200 to EGP 38,200, reflecting a $25/IMT rise.
Price Decreases
Mitad Helwan experienced the largest price drop, with prices falling from EGP 34,000 to EGP 30,400, a decrease of $32/IMT.
El Ola Steel saw a reduction in prices from EGP 35,000 to EGP 34,000, a decrease of $21/IMT.
Misr Steel also faced a decline, with prices dropping from EGP 34,200 to EGP 34,700, a decrease of $24/IMT.
Stable Prices
Ezz Steel maintained its price at EGP 38,200 per metric ton, although the price in dollars per imperial metric ton decreased by $20/IMT.
Arco Steel kept its price steady at EGP 36,800, with a slight decrease of $11/IMT.
