Economic confidence decreased by 0.4% in February

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute for February:

The economic confidence index decreased by 0.4% in February compared to January, falling from 99.4 to 99.

The consumer confidence index declined by 1.3% on a monthly basis in February, dropping to 79.3.

During the same period, the real sector confidence index decreased by 0.9%, reaching 102.

The construction sector confidence index increased by 1%, reaching a value of 91.8.

The services sector confidence index rose by 1.6%, reaching 118.6, while the retail trade sector confidence index decreased by 1%, and recorded as 114.5.
