E united group enters European market with 98% recycled steel

E United Group has announced notable progress across its steel and healthcare operations. The group’s steel products containing %98 recycled content recently received certification, providing significant advantages in carbon tax costs and drawing increased attention from new buyers in Europe. Founder I-Shou Lin stated that E-Da Pingtung Hospital is on track for its planned opening in September.

To strengthen competitiveness, subsidiary Yieh United Steel Corp. (Yusco) allocated more than NTD 40 billion for equipment upgrades. These investments have begun to decrease production costs as depreciation effects take hold.

Additionally, Yusco introduced Taiwan’s first continuous 8K mirror polishing line designed for high end industrial and 3C applications. The company also reported that improvements to its stainless steel melting and hot rolling facilities are nearing completion, and production lines are expected to return to full operation soon.
