Rebar

Spot rebar prices remained unchanged compared to the previous trading day in Istanbul, İzmir, Karabük and Payas. Trading activity continued to be limited as demand remained subdued.

Average producer offers remained unchanged, with Marmara producers maintaining offers at USD 590/ton, while producers in İzmir and İskenderun continued to offer material at USD 570/ton.

Producer offers

İçdaş increased its rebar offers at both its Istanbul and Biga facilities. The Istanbul mill raised prices by TRY 433.40/ton, while the Biga plant increased offers by TRY 124.20/ton. Kardemir's rebar offer remained unchanged.

Billet

Imported billet prices remained stable at USD 500/ton CFR Türkiye.

Kardemir briefly reopened its billet sales at USD 520/ton + VAT, with S235JR billet offered at USD 515/ton and S420/B420 billet at USD 520/ton. The company offered 1% cash discount and payment terms of cash + 30 + 60 + 90 days for orders exceeding 500 tons. After selling approximately 62,700 tons, Kardemir closed its billet sales once again.

Wire rod

The wire rod market remained largely unchanged. Kardemir kept its sales closed, while Ege Çelik maintained its existing price levels. Meanwhile, İçdaş Biga increased its wire rod offer by TRY 106.20/ton to USD 590.29/ton.
