Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced the consumer confidence index data for October.
According to the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey conducted in cooperation between TurkStat and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), the consumer confidence index, which was 83.9 in September, decreased by 0.3% to 83.6 in October.
The current financial situation of households index decreased by 0.1% from 67.8 to 67.7.
The financial situation expectation of households for the next 12 months index increased by 0.2%, from 84.0 in September to 84.2 in October.
The general economic situation expectation index for the next 12 months, which was 78.0 last month, increased by 0.7% to 78.6.
Meanwhile, the index measuring the tendency to spend on durable goods over the next 12 months declined by 1.6%, from 105.7 to 104.0.
