Consumer confidence in the US is at the peak of 9 months

In the USA, the University of Michigan leading Consumer Confidence increased to 64.6 from 59.7 in January. This was the highest level in 9 months.

The current conditions index, which received a value of 59.4 in December, rose to 68.6, while the expectations index rose to 62 from 59.9.

A statement from the University of Michigan said that despite the recovery in consumer confidence, it is still historically low.
