Japanese Earthquake Expert Yoshinori Moriwaki and FGM Yapı Chairman of the Board of Directors Fecri Koça will provide training and inspection support to contractors in order to prevent loss of life caused by earthquake disasters. For this purpose, he established the Turkish Construction Contractors Application Control Association (TİMUKON) platform, which will prevent application errors in constructions.
Fecri Koça stated that they will start the construction period with the Japanese technique in Turkey and said, "Let's not forget that earthquakes are a fact of our country and that the dangerous thing is not earthquakes, but buildings that are not resistant to earthquakes and whose ground plan is not well made."
With TİMUKON, it is aimed to prevent application errors in constructions and thus to construct earthquake-resistant constructions such as Japanese buildings.
Fecri Koça stated that they brought together 900 contractors, municipal building control managers and building inspection company owners under the roof of TİMUKON and stated that the platform is open to all contractors and they aim to reach 300 thousand contractors.
Workshops will be held with TIMUKON members in order to eliminate application errors and to set practical standards. At this point, Yoshinori Moriwaki will share his knowledge with the group, and solid buildings such as Japanese structures will be built. At the same time, faster progress will be achieved by sharing opinions on zoning changes and changes in the regulation at TİMUKON.
