The event will bring together local and international companies seeking to take part in Iraq’s expanding construction and infrastructure market, offering the latest products, technologies, and solutions in the sector.
Last year, CONSTRUCT IRAQ drew attention with cutting-edge technologies presented by companies from various countries and hosted numerous international cooperation agreements. This year, with its strong exhibitor profile and thematic halls, the fair is once again set to become the region’s most important industry gathering. The national participation of Türkiye, supported by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, will enhance the visibility of domestic manufacturers in international markets. Strong local participation from Iraqi companies will further strengthen the regional impact of the event. With a total exhibition area of 17,000 m², CONSTRUCT IRAQ 2025 will maintain its status as the largest sectoral fair in the country.
Thematic halls will ensure a focused experience for attendees: Hall 1 will be dedicated to the construction sector, while Hall 2 will showcase electrical and HVAC technologies. Additionally, the event will be held simultaneously with Electric Iraq and HVAC-R Iraq, offering expanded networking and business development opportunities for both exhibitors and visitors.
Rapid Growth in Iraq’s Construction Market and Türkiye’s Role
Driven by rising demand for transportation, energy, water infrastructure, and commercial investments, Iraq’s construction sector is one of the fastest-growing markets in the Middle East. According to data from GlobalData and Research and Markets, the industry grew by approximately 5% in 2024, with 5.2% growth expected in 2025 and an average annual growth rate of 4.9% between 2025–2028. Government-led incentives, including a capital increase of nearly $7 billion, are further supporting investments in the sector.
Türkiye, one of Iraq’s most important strategic and trade partners, plays a significant role in this growth. Turkish contractors have completed over 1,130 projects in Iraq, with a total investment value of approximately $35.3 billion. In the first half of 2025 alone, a significant portion of the $6.2 billion worth of international contracts was tied to projects in Iraq and the broader Middle East. This robust trade relationship provides Turkish companies with vast opportunities—not only in construction but also in electrical, mechanical, infrastructure, and HVAC systems.
CONSTRUCT IRAQ 2025 offers companies the opportunity to establish new partnerships, strengthen existing business relationships, and maximize their presence in the growing Iraqi market. As the most comprehensive industry gathering in the region, the fair will enable participants to be involved in both ongoing projects and new investments.
