During the same period, pig iron production totaled 19.00 million tons. Average daily pig iron production stood at 1.90 million tons, marking a %0.1 decrease from the previous period.
Finished steel production reached 22.18 million tons. Average daily output was 2.218 million tons, representing a %8.3 increase compared with the previous ten day period.
National daily crude steel output estimated at 2.66 million tons
Based on CISA's data, China's national average daily crude steel production during the last ten days of June is estimated at 2.66 million tons, reflecting a %3.6 decrease compared with the previous period.
National average daily pig iron production is estimated at 2.39 million tons, showing a %0.1 decrease, while average daily finished steel production is estimated to have reached 4.35 million tons, representing a %2.8 increase.
The latest CISA data indicates that although crude steel and pig iron production slowed in late June, finished steel production continued to increase.
