ÇİMSA ranked as the third producer in the global market

Çimsa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., the global brand of Sabancı Group, announced that it increased its production capacity from 65 thousand tons to 131 tons.

ÇİMSA ranked as the third producer in the global market

As of 2022, Çimsa commissioned a new production facility in addition to its existing CAC (Calcium Aluminate Cement) production capacity at the Mersin facility.

According to the statement published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Çimsa increased its CAC clinker production capacity from 65 thousand tons to 131 tons per year with this new production facility.

With this development, Çimsa has been the world's third largest producer in the global CAC market.

The new production facility for CAC, which is used as the main input in the production of construction chemicals and refractories, will contribute to Çimsa's goals of growing in the export market and expanding its value-added product range, according to the statement on KAP.
