Chung Hung Steel Corporation (CHSC), a Taiwan-based carbon steel producer affiliated with China Steel Corporation (CSC), increased the domestic prices of hot rolled steel, cold rolled steel and galvanized steel by NT$ 500/ton for October 2023. It was reported that the actual offer will be determined according to local market conditions.
The company said that iron ore prices have increased recently due to the stock renewal demand of steel producers, and coal prices have also increased due to strong demand in India.
