Chinese billet prices have increased RMB 30/ton ($5/t).

Chinese billet prices increased by $5

Steel billet prices in China's Tangshan saw a small increase of RMB 30/ton ($5/t) on January 22. Domestic billet prices stood at RMB 4,400/ton ($691/t) including 13% VAT.

According to data from foreign sources, the SHFE rebar futures contract for China's May'22 delivery closed yesterday at RMB 4,632/t ($728), up RMB 43/tonne ($7/t).
