China's rolled steel output decreased by 0.01% in August 2023, reaching 116.52 million tons, a 11.4% increase from August 2022, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
However, the country's finished steel output rose by 6.3% in the eight months since the start of the year to 909.2 million tons.
