According to industrial data, China's major steel mills saw their average daily crude steel production in early January increase by 0.51 percent compared to what was recorded in late December 2022.
Daily crude steel production amounted to 1.93 million tons in early January.
According to the data, major steel producers produced a total of 19.26 million tons of crude steel during this period, and daily pig iron production decreased by 0.4 percent during this period, while rolled steel production decreased by 8.68 percent.
