Steel giant China's crude steel production continues to increase. According to the Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China's crude steel production increased by 1.1% in the period from February 1-10, 2025 compared to the same period of the previous year. Daily pig iron production and steel output also continued to rise during the period.
Daily crude steel output of China's major steelmakers increased by 1.1% year-on-year to 2.13 million tons during this period, while daily pig iron output rose by 3.3% to 1.96 million tons. Daily steel production decreased by 3.4% to 1.95 million tons.
