China Steel Corporation (CSC), the largest carbon steel manufacturer in Taiwan, announced last week that the prices of AP (apply heat) plates for October and prime plates for the fourth quarter by NT$500/ton and NT$1,200/ton.
It was stated that customers' quota approval reached 100%. According to the statement made by China Steel Corporation (CSC), the reason for the lack of an additional increase is that the demand has not yet been fully disclosed.
Whether the company in question will accept its customers' demand for additional increases will depend on the steel plate production capacity allocation.
