China launches anti-dumping investigation into H-beams from Vietnam

Currently, the anti-dumping duties range from 22.09% to 33.51% and the targeted products are classified under HS codes 7216.33.11, 7216.33.19, 7216.33.90, 7228.70.10 and 7228.70.90.

The MOIT conducted its first anti-dumping investigation into H-beam imports from China and Hong Kong on October 5, 2016, and subsequently imposed anti-dumping duties for a period of five years from September 5, 2017. On October 19, 2021, following an end-of-term review, the MOIT decided to extend the anti-dumping duties for another five-year period from September 6, 2022.

China exported 105,056 tons of H-beam products to Vietnam from January to September 2023, representing an increase of 30.1% year-on-year.
