The price of iron ore in China fell on June 22 as demand from Chinese mills decreased.

China iron ore prices fall on subdued Chinese demand

The price of iron ore in China fell on June 22 as demand from Chinese mills decreased. Benchmark Fe 62% fines prices moved down by $6.50/t to $109.40/t CFR China. Furthermore, due to low steel margins more Chinese mills were heard putting their blast furnaces under maintenance.
