CEVA Logistics acquires Borusan Lojistik

CEVA Logistics has strengthened its presence in Türkiye by acquiring 100% of Borusan Borusan Tedarik, legal entity of Borusan Lojistik’s logistics operations, for USD 383 million. All necessary official approvals for the acquisition have been obtained, and the transaction has been completed.

CEVA Logistics acquires Borusan Lojistik

Borusan Holding sold 69.47% of its shares in Borusan Supply Chain, while the remaining 30.53% belongs to the publicly traded Borusan Yatırım. The acquisition agreement was first announced to the public on April 26, 2025. CEVA will manage not only Borusan Lojistik's domestic and international subsidiaries but also its Türkiye affiliates eTA and Bukoli. Borusan Liman, which operates under the Borusan Lojistik brand, will remain under Borusan Holding.

Following the acquisition, CEVA will initiate the integration and brand transformation process of Borusan Lojistik to further solidify its position as the largest third-party logistics (3PL) provider in the Turkish domestic market. Currently, CEVA manages approximately 1,190,000 square meters of warehouse space across Türkiye within contract logistics. In terms of road transportation, this merger corresponds to about 1 million full truckload (FTL) shipments annually. Borusan Lojistik's less-than-truckload (LTL) operations will also strengthen CEVA's existing network, including its European connections. As a result, CEVA will become a leading player in finished vehicle logistics as well as air and sea freight transportation.

CEVA Logistics CEO Mathieu Friedberg commented on the matter: “The Turkish economy and domestic logistics market have a dynamic structure. Considering the country's strategic location along the India, Middle East, and Europe Corridor, this growth offers a wide range of opportunities for our logistics solutions at new scales and scopes. Thanks to our merged operations, Türkiye has become CEVA's third largest country in terms of gross revenue.”
