Budget gave a deficit of 31.1 billion liras in June

The Ministry of Treasury and Finance has published the central government budget data for June.

While the budget gave a deficit of 31.1 billion liras in June, a primary deficit of 18.3 billion liras occurred.

In the same month budget expenditures were recorded as 212 billion liras and budget revenues as 181 billion liras.

The budget had a surplus of 144 billion liras in May with the high increase in tax revenues due to the effect of inflation.

Last month the cost of the currency-protected deposits to the budget was 16 billion liras in June.
