According to a statement by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has been initiated for the company’s project, which includes the revision of its pipe production line as well as the addition of phosphating and surface cleaning lines.
With a total investment value of TL 301.65 million, the project aims to modernize the existing production line in order to respond to increasing customer demand for longitudinally welded steel pipes. In addition, a new surface preparation line and a surface cleaning line will be integrated into the facility.
Upon completion of the investment, the plant’s annual production capacity is expected to reach 1,139,691 metric tons of pipes. During the construction phase of the project, approximately 50 personnel are planned to be employed.
