TRY 257 Billion Revenue, 39% Growth
Borusan Holding achieved consolidated revenues of TRY 257 billion in 2024, representing 39% growth in TRY terms compared to the previous year. The Group also undertook many projects that contribute to the environment, people and society.
Borusan, which increased its total installed capacity to 855 MW with the capacity increase in the energy business line, reduced its energy intensity by 27%, recycled over 131 thousand tons of waste and increased its recovery rate in this area by 15%. It also recovered over 115 thousand tons of water, reducing total water consumption by 14%. 2024 environmental investments exceeded TRY 296 million.
Inclusive Culture and People-Oriented Approach
Borusan addresses sustainability not only in environmental but also in social and cultural dimensions. In the group where 21% of the total workforce consists of female employees, this rate reached 26% in senior management. Borusan maintains its leadership in the sector with a 96.3% young talent retention rate and invests in the younger generation through career development and mentoring programs.
BorusanX, Borusan's cultural transformation program launched in 2022, was completed by 2024. With transformations in many areas from leadership to digital adaptation, the group adapted to the dynamics of the modern business world.
TRY 480 Million R&D Budget, 24 New Patent Applications
In 2024, Borusan applied for 24 patents with an R&D budget exceeding TRY 480 million and developed 39 new products and services, offering innovative solutions at every stage of the value chain.
Carrying out social responsibility projects in many areas ranging from education to culture and arts, from climate crisis to equal opportunities, Borusan continued to create a collective social impact throughout 2024.
