BIR World Recycling Convention breaks an all-time record with the participation of 1500 delegates on its 75th anniversary.

This tremendous achievement is a wonderful testament to BIR's excellent reputation and professional interest built on 75 years of recycling advocacy and global business network.

Among the presenters of the first "The Challenge" meeting of the Convention;

Michael Lion (Everwell Resources),

John Sacco (Sierra International Machinery),

And, Uwe Schmidt (Montanwerke Brixlegg AG) (as special guest)

Among the distinguished guests they hosted were Robin Wiener President of ISRI, former Director General of BIR Francis Veys; Chair of BIR’s International Environment Council Olivier Francois; Young Traders Chair Niels Keyaert; Secretary General of EURIC Emmanuel Katrakis; President of the Non-Ferrous Metals Division Marc Natan; BIR's Director General Arnaud Brunet, and the President Tom Bird.
