Becker Group appoints Torsten Gieseke as CEO

As of February 1, 2026, Gieseke has assumed his new role and will also serve on the management boards of the Group’s subsidiaries, Becker Aluminium-Service GmbH and Umformtechnik Stendal GmbH.

In his new position, Torsten Gieseke is expected to strengthen strategic alignment across the Becker Group and enhance coordination among the group companies. He succeeds Guido Kerkhoff, CEO of Klöckner & Co SE—the Becker Group’s parent company—who had also been serving as Interim CEO of the Becker Group.

With more than 20 years of experience in the steel and automotive industries, Torsten Gieseke is regarded as a seasoned executive whose extensive sector knowledge and expertise are expected to contribute to the Group’s long-term objectives. Company management emphasized that this appointment represents an important step toward ensuring organizational continuity and supporting future growth.

In the new phase, the Becker Group will be managed by a three-member executive team comprising Torsten Gieseke (CEO), Joerg Kaib (CFO), and Bernd Guttek (COO).
