Highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence in the sector, Al-Ghabban outlined the key advantages of the technology as follows:
-
Automating design reviews to generate smarter alternatives,
-
Improving supplier risk management and procurement decisions,
-
Expanding supplier networks and optimizing cost structures.
Sharing his outlook for the future, Al-Ghabban stated, “Artificial intelligence will make our industry faster, smarter, and more strategic through autonomous supply chain planning, dynamic pricing, and productive contracting processes.”
Concluding his speech, Al-Ghabban underscored the importance of early engagement between project owners, engineers, contractors, and steel producers, stressing that “dialogue and collaboration are essential for shared success.”
