AKS, one of the leading steel producers in Bangladesh, has introduced its new rebar coded AKS TMT B700C-R. This product, which is Bangladesh's first and strongest refined steel, is ready to redefine the construction industry in terms of quality and provide stronger and safer structures for the country.

Founded in 1953, AKS has made great contributions to Bangladesh's economy since its establishment, and in 2009, AKS established Bangladesh's steel plant, which alone has the capacity to produce 1.4 million tons of rebar annually. In 2015, it opened Bangladesh's first electric arc furnace (EAF), raising the standard of production. AKS continues its production by emphasizing that sustainability is their priority with the words of M Courtney Clarke: “Sustainability is not a destination, it is a process of continuous improvement.” AKS continues production by emphasizing with his words.
