Automobile production and sales increased in Japan

According to the data, Japan's automobile production in March increased by 17.3% compared to the previous month and 20.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, amounting to around 866,000 cars.

At the same time, sales increased by 34.2% m-o-m and 11.6% y-o-y to around 572,000 cars.

Production amounted to 2.23 million automobiles in the first quarter, up 13.5 per cent y-o-y.
