The equipment for the plant will be supplied by the American engineering group Fives in cooperation with the Australian company ProTube Engineering. Fives will install, among other things, a modern loading system and a packaging machine with three robotic arms of its own design.
Orrcon Steel specializes in the production of welded pipes and hot rolled products for the construction industry. At the moment, it owns two operating factories near the Australian cities of Adelaide and Brisbane. Since 2013, the company has been owned by BlueScope Steel Corporation of the BHP Group.
