Ashinsky Plant increased net profit by 45% in 2024

Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant published its 2024 annual financial statements on the "Corporate Information Disclosure Center" platform.

Ashinsky Plant increased net profit by 45% in 2024

The company’s net profit amounted to 13,939 million rubles, which is approximately 45% higher than the 2023 figure of 9,605 million rubles.

Revenue in 2024 decreased to 37,104 million rubles from 46,320 million rubles in 2023.

Gross profit and operating profit in 2024 declined to 7,521 million rubles and 4,395 million rubles, respectively, compared to 14,227 million rubles and 11,143 million rubles in 2023.

A significant increase was observed in the "Other Income" line, which rose to 12,044 million rubles in 2024 from 180 million rubles in 2023.

Expenses for ordinary activities remained approximately the same: 32,708 million rubles in 2024 compared to 35,176 million rubles in 2023.

The cost of inventories in 2024 amounted to 8,812 million rubles compared to 8,077 million rubles in 2023.

The capital amount at the end of the year, including adjustments, was 13,279 million rubles in 2024 compared to 40,514 million rubles in 2023. The difference is due to changes in the lines "dividends" (29,944 million rubles in 2024 compared to none in 2023) and "repurchase of own shares (stakes)" (11,380 million rubles in 2024 compared to 150 million rubles in 2023).

The main activity of Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant is the production of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel sheet (flat-rolled) products, consumer goods, as well as the production of strips and magnetic cores at its main production site located in the city of Asha.
