ArcelorMittal Vega, located in São Francisco do Sul, Santa Catarina, recently received the ResponsibleSteel™️ certification, demonstrating that the company not only has responsible manufacturing processes, but also realizes social and sustainable transformations and promotes diversity and inclusion.
The review process took about a year and was during the largest development work completed in Vega's history.
ArcelorMittal Vega is the third Brazilian unit to receive this certification, after ArcelorMittal Tubarão and ArcelorMittal Monlevade.
