Hot rolled coil delivered throughout Europe is currently €820/ton ($878), up around €40/ton compared to the latest offers at the end of January.
The new offer levels will apply to all European orders, and hot dip galvanized coil offers will increase to €940/ton.
European coil prices continue to recover, although slower than ArcelorMittal's latest forecast. While transaction levels in Northern Europe were still at €740-770/ton last week, Italy has yet to reach €800/ton.
