ArcelorMittal Poland CEO Wojciech Kosuta noted that the company has recently faced a series of adverse factors, citing “extremely high energy costs, insufficient protection of the European market, and additional financial burdens related to obtaining CO₂ emission allowances under the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS)” as the main reasons behind the move.
