The four facilities to be transferred are located in Wanishi (Muroran, Hokkaido), Kashima (Kashima City, Ibaraki), Wakayama (Wakayama City), and Kakogawa (Kakogawa City, Hyogo).

Until now, Air Water (AW) has owned the industrial gas production facilities, while its subsidiary, Air Water Gas Products, has been responsible for the operation and management of these sites. However, with the corporate reorganization, AW will transfer a portion of its industrial gas business, including assets and liabilities, from the Gas Products Division of the Digital & Industrial Group to AW Gas Products.

Following the transfer, AW Gas Products will establish an integrated system at the sites covering industrial gas production, sales, logistics, and maintenance. According to the company, the business segment to be spun off recorded sales revenue of 36.131 billion yen in the fiscal year ending March 2025, accounting for 3.36% of AW’s total sales revenue.
