A fragment of a missile destroyed during Iranian attacks fell on a steel mill in Qatar

According to a statement from a company official to SteelRadar, during Iran’s attacks on US military bases in the Middle East, some missiles launched toward Qatar were destroyed by air defense systems before reaching their targets. However, fragments from the destroyed missiles scattered to various locations.

One of these fragments struck the roof of the Qatar Steel Industries factory, penetrating the roof and causing damage to some cranes. During the incident, the electrical system was cut off, leading to damage in some equipment and the malfunction of one of the devices in the factory.

Officials reported that the electrical system was repaired in a short time, but repair work on the factory’s roof is still ongoing.

On the other hand, it was stated that Qatar did not suffer direct damage from the Iranian attacks and that no missile directly hit the country. The damage occurred as a result of fragments from missiles destroyed by air defense systems falling to the ground.
